Veterinary Patient Safety Summit 2026 - Patient Safety in Action: Being a Champion for Safe Patient Care
The Veterinary Patient Safety Summit returns for 2026 with a powerful new theme: Patient Safety in Action: Being a Champion for Safe Patient Care.

VetLed and VetSafe are delighted to announce that tickets are now live for the Veterinary Patient Safety Summit 2026, taking place on 16 October 2026 in Birmingham.
This year’s event focuses on practical tools, real-world strategies, and meaningful conversations that empower veterinary professionals to drive safer care in their own workplaces.
Now in its sixth year, the summit has grown from a small gathering of 35 people at Marlow Rowing Club to a nationally recognised event that sold out in just over three weeks last year. In response to this demand, the 2026 summit will take place at The Studio, Birmingham, offering a larger venue and two dedicated learning spaces. This expanded format allows delegates to join sessions tailored to their level of experience in Human Factors and patient safety - from complete newcomers to leaders and advanced practitioners seeking deeper insights.
Attendees can expect a day designed to spark action: practical workshops, shared experiences, expert-led discussions, and the chance to connect with colleagues who are equally passionate about improving veterinary patient safety. Whether taking first steps or building on years of experience, the summit provides a unique opportunity for shared learning and collaboration to strengthen patient safety across the profession.
