Overview

Restorative Just Culture aims to repair trust and relationships damaged after an incident. It allows all parties to discuss how they have been affected and collaboratively decide what should be done to repair the harm. The scope of Restorative Just Culture (RJC) was initially defined as the actions to repair trust and relationships after an incident. However, many organisations have learned that an RJC approach requires the processes of the organisation to be aligned and leadership to be visible. The scope for the implementation of RJC is therefore widened to include processes, governance, culture, and the interaction with regulators. This programme has been developed and is being delivered in conjunction with Amanda Oates and the Foundation for a Restorative Just Culture and VetLed is proud to be collaborating with these world experts in RJC to bring the principles to the veterinary profession.

Format and Delivery

The offering will consist of six modules, each module comprising:

  • 1 x 45-minute online pre-recorded session
  • 1 x 60-minute live facilitated online discussion

Open courses are online in a modular format (one module per month) as above, with specific dates for the live interactive workshops.
