Veterinary Human Factors Live 2026: Collaborating For Collective Change
26th June 2026 | Birmingham | In person
There’s something quietly powerful happening in our profession this year. It’s something rooted in hope, connection, and the belief that we can achieve more when we come together.
We’re joining forces with the wonderful team at Vet Empowered, who share our belief that meaningful change is possible when we take small, practical steps together. Some might see us as competitors, but we see an opportunity to model the very thing we’re inviting the profession to embrace.
We’re creating an in-person Human Factors event that brings together everything we care about, fostering the kind of collaboration that genuinely moves our profession forward.
This is more than a conference. It’s a space to connect and a space to imagine what’s possible when we stop working in isolation.
For us at VetLed, this is a milestone. Our Human Factors conferences have been virtual since 2021, and while they’ve been rich in content (3 lives streams and online replays!), we’ve heard time and again how much people longed for the in-person connection. We’re so excited that we finally get to bring that to life.
The Theme
At its heart, Veterinary Human Factors Live 2026 is about collaboration in all its forms.
Collaboration with ourselves
Understanding our own patterns, pressures, and strengths.
Collaboration within our teams
Creating environments where people feel safe to speak, safe to learn, and safe to be human.
Collaboration with clients
Moving away from “them and us” and towards shared understanding and shared goals.
Collaboration across the profession
Learning from human medicine and other industries, from veterinary organisations doing brilliant work, and from each other.

How To Get Tickets
The big vet conferences are amazing, but you won’t find thousands of people here. We want this day to feel spacious, human, and genuinely connective, so we’ve chosen a venue that’s intentionally more intimate, which means that tickets are limited. So, if this day speaks to you, we’d love you to join us.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Tickets will be available from 2nd February 2026.
- If you’re on our mailing list, you’ll receive early access 48 hours before general release. Just head to our homepage and fill in your details in the pop up window!
- Early-bird tickets will only be available for the first week.
What the Day Will Feel Like
We can’t share speaker announcements just yet, but we can say this:
This won’t be a day of sitting quietly in rows, absorbing information in isolation.
It will be a day…
- of conversation, connection, and community.
- to meet people who care deeply about the future of the profession.
- to explore ideas that feel hopeful and grounded, not overwhelming or out of reach.
We’ll also be joined by exhibitors and voices from across the veterinary world and beyond, bringing perspectives we don’t hear often enough.
The Space
We’ll be gathering at The Studio, Birmingham — a warm, versatile venue with a beautiful roof terrace and a layout that naturally encourages conversation. It’s the perfect backdrop for the kind of day we want to create.
An Invitation
If you’re looking for clinical lectures, this may not be the right fit. But…
- If you’re seeking connection, inspiration, and a sense of shared purpose
- If you want to be part of a profession that supports one another with kindness and curiosity
- If you believe that change is possible when we work together
...then we’d love to welcome you.
Veterinary Human Factors Live
