Our Introduction to Human Factors in Veterinary Practice course will help you and your veterinary teams to understand the components of consistently high performing individuals and organisations. Safety reporting and alternatives to blame culture
Sustainable high performance is based around learning and improvement, key for which is reporting; positive events as well as concerns, near misses and incidents. Understand more about why, how and what to report, the necessity of a ‘Just Culture’ and the critical roles of all team members within each part of the process.
Everyday wellbeing and self-care
“Ensure your own mask is fitted before helping others" is a phrase many of us have heard every time we board a plane. It also serves as a great analogy in practice. As care-givers, we are only fit to help others if we have put our own needs first. Whilst it might be considered selfish, self-care is in-fact quite the opposite and essential if we are to give our best to our colleagues and to our patients. This course explores the importance of self-care, wellbeing and stress solutions with practical tips and strategies as well providing valuable insights into human behaviour and associated psychology.
